Privacy

Daily Calendar is a static website. It does not ask you to create an account, it does not take payment, and it does not show ads.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar files to measure how the site is used. That can include which pages are opened, roughly where a visit comes from, and general information about the browser and device. Google receives and stores that information. We use it to see whether the site is being read.

We do not sell personal information.

Google describes how it uses information from sites that use its services on this page. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. To opt out of Google Analytics in your browser, you can install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Amazon links

If you follow a link to Amazon, you leave this site. What you do there is covered by Amazon's own privacy policy, not this one. Those links are affiliate links, described on the affiliate disclosure page.

What runs in the browser

The pages are ordinary HTML. Your browser uses today's date to choose the month, highlight the day, and pick the note. The notes themselves are a file on this site. Notes for past dates are also saved as ordinary HTML pages in the archive. Those pages can be opened without the script that chooses today's date. We do not receive the date you are looking at except as part of ordinary page-visit measurement by Google Analytics.
